Bharathiyar song

Bharathiyar's songs were very penetrative and filled with passion. I finally found a web version of the songs here I have picked my favorite song and pasted above. The highlighted section of the song is actually used in the movie 'Mahaanadhi' by Kamalahaasan. Its not surprising that the selection was carefully done by omitting the references to God. It fits the character in the movie too. I wish I can translate this to English.

Wow! I didn't know that Mahanadi had Barathiyar's songs. Which part of the movie plays this song?
